I've noticed more homes are putting up security signs or invisible fence signs on their property. I think this is against the MCS covenant, and I was wondering how to deal with these? At least two of the homes with signs on Shady Grove Ct. are occupied by new owners, so I suspect they are unfamiliar with the restrictions on signs.

If the signs are really bothering you, I would suggest talking to your neighbors about either removing or repositioning the signs. If they are uncooperative, then perhaps you could refer them to the covenants, if in fact the signs are not allowed.

I'm optimistic that most people want to do the right thing but don't really know the rules. (Who has time to read those things after all the closing docs anyway?)
Is it possible for the board to put together a little info sheet that has some of the more common rules (violations) on it?
It's always an awkward situation to bring up things like this to a neighbor so the flier dropped in the mailbox would be a non-confrontational way to bring the issue to their attention.
